The Future of Lifebook

Got a digicam? Check. Cell phone with a camera? Check. Laptop? Check. MP3 player? Check! Tablet or ebook reader with internet and email? Check and check.  Seeing any overlap in devices? Check! But what if you had ONE device that could do all of that, either together or individually? Could be a revolutionary product you say? We would have to agree with you.

Now, we would also agree that you can't do everything right, but lets give Prashant Chandra's Lifebook concept a chance.   It was designed on the “shared hardware” dilema. Currently a lot of hardware is wasted when we use separate devices, as there is often a lot of duplicated content. So Prashant saud, "if I have my songs on my music player, why do I have to block the same amount of storage on my laptop? Similarly, if I have a processor sitting in my tablet, why can it not also run/assist my laptop? If I have a fully functional camera with its own memory and image processing power, why do I need to have it repeated in my laptop?"

His answer is the Lifebook concept shown here. When many people say their device does everything, this device is everything, individually and as a whole: digicam, a tablet, and a laptop.  Use them individually or as one unit.
