Glasses With Subtitles

Few people in the world are happy with what they have. Some protest the inability to fully enjoy 3D movies due to inefficiencies in the 3d lenses. Yet there are those who suffer because they can not hear the sounds of 2D movies because they are deaf, making it impossible to enjoy a film unless they are being subtitled.

Faced with this challenge, our friends at Sony are working on developing a lens  that enabled the deaf to enjoy the films  in their own language, by letting them read captions on the lower part of the lens of their eyeglasses.

These unique lenses are called lenses  with  subtitles.  At this stage, they have been tested by a deaf person, who indicates their performance as excellent. He said that these lenses give the impression that the subtitles  are coming right out of the movie screen.
